Amy: Wen’t  heard from Father either.

Alan: You needn’t worry. We may hear from them even today. The afternoon postn’t come yet.

Amy: Oh yes, it. The postmanalreadytwice.

Alan: you got any aspirin, Amy? I have a headache.

Amy: Wait a minute. I must have a bottle of aspirins in my bag. Yes, here it.

Alan: Well, I. I’ve had a very busy day.

Amy: I can make you a cup of tea.

Amy: But give me a cigarette, please, Alan. In’t had time for a cigarette today. I’ve too busy.

Amy: I can’t find them. I’ve found a box of matches, and a book of stamps, but there aren’t any cigarettes.
